Frequently asked questions

Does the app need to stay open?

No. Shared data syncs when the app is open, and supported Home Screen installations can receive push notifications in the background. A currently running timer remains represented by the server-authoritative timer.

Why should I add it to the iPhone Home Screen?

On iPhone, Home Screen installation provides the app-like experience and is required for web push notifications. Open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Can another couple use the same website?

Yes. They should create their own household with their own accounts and invite code. Household access controls keep their labor information separate from yours.

What should I do if timing looks wrong?

Use the correction tools to edit or delete a contraction. Records that were automatically ended or estimated can be reviewed and confirmed.

Can the support partner end a timer?

Yes. When the person in labor forgets to stop an active timer, the connected support partner can end it and the record will show who ended it.

Is Labor Together medical advice?

No. It is a timing and communication aid. Follow your maternity provider’s instructions and use direct emergency communication when needed.
